Treasure on Angel Isle
The Play & Music by Barbara Ryal
The play takes place on Angel Isle after the kids are shipwrecked. Winnie and her band of angels lead the kids on a treasure hunt as they look for help and a way off. While on this tropical, isolated island, they discover they are not alone, a ruthless gang of pirates is also marooned ashore. The angles and kids teach the pirates to turn from their bad ways and to lean on Jesus. Meanwhile, the captain teaches his son and the rest the story of the Prodigal son in his forgiveness of his own son.

Characters
(Winnie) WINNIFRED: A wild and fun angel that teaches kids about God by taking them on wonderful adventures or helping them when they get into difficult situations.
(Estelle) ESTELLE: Winnie’s sidekick angel friend that goes with her on most adventures.
(A) ANGELS: A small band of Angels that accompany Winnie. There are 9 Angel Lines in this play.)
(Mac) MAC: A kid looking for a good time. He creates a little trouble in search of a good time.
(Biff) BIFF: A kid that is a bit of a gennious. He has put “facts” infront and hasn’t learned about faith.
(K) KIDS: The kids are out on a cruise hoping for an adventure. (There are 58 Kids Lines in this play.)
(LK) LITTLE KIDS: Tired of being treated as the “Little Kids”. (Lines LK 38 - 41)
(Captain) CAPTAIN DAVID P. JONES – CAPTAIN DAVEY: The captain of the S.S. Friendship. He was hired to take the kids on short cruises. He is burdened with a heart for his strayed son.
(D.J.) 1st MATE D.J.: David Jones Jr., the captain’s oldest son. He is the good son that has helped his dad and followed the rules.
(P.J.) P.J. THE PIRATE: The leader of the Pirates. Peter is also the younger son of the captain.
(P) PIRATES: P.J. the Pirates gang called, “The Swine of the Sea”. (There are 20 Pirate Lines in this play.)
(NAVY) NAVY: Adult or teens dressed up to look like Naval rescuers.
Scenes
Scene I: The kids are on the dock getting ready to leave for their cruise.
Scene II: On the S.S. Friendship sailing away.
Scene III: On Angel Isle.
